IPSPHERE FORUM MEMBERSHIP GROWS

Nine new members join the group to drive IP convergence forward

Fremont, California – 16 January 2007 - The IPsphere Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to unleashing the business and societal benefits of IP convergence, today announced the addition of nine new members, bringing its total membership to nearly 40 since its inception in June 2005.

Among the new additions to the group are three network operators, Korea’s KT, Spain’s Teléfonica and Telkom South Africa; IT consultancy firm Comware; vendors Avici Systems, HP and Meriton Networks; and two e-commerce enablers, eoBuy and NewGenPay.
