IPSF Specifications

IPSF R1 Technical Specification

The Release 1 Specification document outlines the technical specification of the IPsphere Framework, a framework for abstracting and composing multi—stakeholder telecommunications-based services both within and between service providers. Service abstraction describes the business and technical characteristics of a service and its constituent service elements. Service composition identifies and selects elements which satisfy these technical and business requirements. The IPsphere Service Structuring Stratum provides support for structuring, executing and assuring these services. Click here to download

IPSF SSRM Specification

The Release 1 Session Services and Resource Management (SSRM) specification outlines how a system external to the IPsphere framework can either exercise or be exercised by an IPsphere system, enabling complimentary interworking in session-based environments. By addressing the complex problem of functional session management and resource allocation across service provider boundaries, the SSRM specification complements IPsphere Forum's Release 1 specification multi-stakeholder service delivery. The SSRM specification extends this cornerstone work by adding the methodology for the admission and advanced support of individual user sessions on IPsphere defined services.
